My husband and I have hired Amanda for several special occasions (including engagement, wedding, and boudoir) and each time she has astounded us with her talent. I also wanted to make a statement about the beautiful images that were taken during my boudoir session. Admittedly, I was very nervous for this session, but really, what girl isn’t? My boudoir session was so much fun and I was able to give my husband a very intimate memento—which, he loved!

“So I wanted to do something super amazing for my boyfriend’s birthday; the guy has everything and I wanted it to be something he’d love forever, not just for a month or two. I loved all the sexy pictures of women in
magazines and wanted to take pictures like that for my boyfriend. I then contacted Amanda of Rose Day Photography to figure out what I needed to do. Amanda was wonderful, full of excitement and ideas! I was so nervous and excited; I had no idea what to bring or to get! As soon as we saw Amanda’s photography from our friends’ engagement session, we knew that we wanted to hire her for our engagement and wedding photos. Upon meeting her for a consultation, we were even more 
impressed! She was friendly, caring, and professional. Although we tend to be picky, she explained everything in detail, and answered our many questions. After retaining her, she went out of her way to make sure that she understood what we wanted, made creative suggestions, was great at time-managing, though pleasant and accommodating with last minute changes, and even researched and scoped out locations before our wedding and engagement sessions. In each session she made us feel so comfortable; we actually had so much fun at times that we forgot we were being captured! I was looking for something awesome to give to my husband for our 5th anniversary. I decided to do a boudoir session with Amanda. I was very uneasy and self conscious about my body. I am a mother of two boys and I have the scars to prove it. When I first arrived, I was so relieved when I met Amanda. She is so 
welcoming, reassuring and constantly smiling. Amanda made me feel very comfortable and beautiful. I had no idea what I was doing, but she guided me through the shoot. By the end of the shoot, I had forgotten about all my insecurities. Amanda made sure that I got the shots I wanted and that I was completely satisfied with the work she had done. When I showed up to my presentation, I was nervous again! It felt unnatural to see myself as “sexy” and I was not looking foward to seeing myself unedited. The pictures turned out amazing and I have never felt so beautiful and secure about my body (and I had a blast doing it). I think everyone woman should do this, so she can finally see how others see her and not in the negative light women usually percieve themselves in.
